Cyber AB Chairman Jeff Dalton Returns to CMMC CON

The need for federal contractors to protect their data has never been higher. Threats outside the U.S. continue to grow and the White House reportedly plans to issue an executive order aimed at limiting the influence of Chinese technology.

What does the evolving landscape mean for the Defense Industrial Base (DIB)? A recently released document offers some insight as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 looms.

The CMMC Assessment Process (CAP) was published in July by the Cyber AB, formerly known as the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Accreditation Body. The Cyber AB is considering whether the pre-decisional draft “can be pared down and make it more efficient.” It has already been put to use by CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organizations (C3PAOs) conducting voluntary assessments in a joint surveillance program with the Department of Defense (DOD).

Cyber AB chairman Jeff Dalton returns to CMMC CON to break down the CAP and help contractors navigate a CMMC 2.0 roadmap. Register for CMMC CON 2022 to hear Dalton’s address and get the inside scoop on how the Cyber AB is directing C3PAOs.
