CMMC CON Speaker Bailey Bickley, Chief of DIB Defense at the NSA’s Cybersecurity Collaboration Center

Keeping the DIB Safe: NSA’s Bailey Bickley Joins the Conversation at CMMC CON 2024

Most of the defense industrial base (DIB) consists of small businesses that face the same threats as large tech companies: state-sponsored attacks from America’s adversaries. The DIB often mistakenly assumes that its line of work isn’t attractive to hackers. With national security on the line, it’s even more crucial that these small companies are well-defended than some tech titans.

At CMMC CON 2024: Behind the Screen on Sept. 25, we’ll explore this topic further with one of the DIB’s top executives. Bailey Bickley, the Chief of DIB Defense at the NSA’s Cybersecurity Collaboration Center, will join the event for an interview with CyberSheath CEO Eric Noonan in a session titled “Protecting the DIB from the Unseen Threat.”

Bickley is responsible for scaling intel-driven cybersecurity solutions across the DIB and has revitalized the NSA’s engagement with the cybersecurity community at the unclassified level. She has worked across two intelligence community agencies and in the private sector.

In today’s geopolitical climate, the United States has plenty to monitor, and Bickley has identified China in particular as an adversary with the resources to pull off devastating attacks. Join the session to gain an insider’s perspective into what DIB contractors should be aware of and how CMMC can better protect those companies and our military secrets.
