The Department of Defense (DOD) has officially released the final rule for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, effective December 16, 2024. This means that defense contractors must meet strict cybersecurity requirements to protect Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Noncompliance can disqualify contractors from future DOD contracts, as contracting officers will no longer be able to award new contracts, extend performance periods, or exercise options without passing the required CMMC level.
CyberSheath's latest Defense on the Brink report shows that only 4% of contractors are fully prepared for CMMC certification. With the compliance deadline fast approaching, our webinar will give you the critical insights and actionable steps you need to stay ahead of the curve and secure your DOD contracts.
