CMMC CON 2023 - Strive to Thrive - Bailey Bickley Announcement

Preparing for CMMC 2.0: NSA’s Bailey Bickley Talks Strategy, Technology at CMMC CON 2023

For contractors in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) waiting to implement the necessary controls to comply with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, it’s time to act. The Department of Defense (DOD) submitted the proposed rule to the Office of Management and Budget, marking a major milestone in the path to CMMC enforcement.

CyberSheath research shows the average Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) score for DIB contractors falls short of what is required for Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance. Without a clear blueprint, achieving CMMC 2.0 compliance will be more costly and time-consuming than it needs to be.

Attendees of CMMC CON 2023, a free virtual conference for the DIB on Sept. 27, will be given all the pieces necessary to complete their CMMC puzzle.

Bailey Bickley, the Chief of DIB Defense at the NSA’s Cybersecurity Collaboration Center, will join the event for an interview session covering strategy and technology.

Bickley is responsible for key initiatives to evolve the CCC and deliver intel-driven cybersecurity solutions across the DIB and has revitalized the way the NSA engages with the cybersecurity community at the unclassified level. She has worked across two intelligence community agencies, as well as in the private sector.

Register for CMMC CON 2023 to hear from Bickley as she’s interviewed by CyberSheath CEO Eric Noonan, so you can better prepare for the rollout of CMMC 2.0.
